Scholarship coverage for Masters level 

This scholarship covers the following:

1. Cost of training before departure to Australia ( pre-departure training )

3. Pocket money during training before departure to Australia
4. The cost of the first health check and x-ray to fulfill the student visa conditions. If further medical examination costs are needed, the costs will be borne by the student concerned
5. Student Visa and Student Dependent Visa  Fees
6. Cost of health insurance required for visa provisions ( overseas student health cover )
7. Arrival allowance in Australia ( establishment allowance ) which is given 1 (one) time upon arrival in Australia
8. Pocket money given every 2 (two) weeks
9. Cost of Introductory Academic Program training conducted 4-6 weeks before the start of a Masters or Doctoral study program in Australia

Scholarship requirements for Masters level 

Some of the requirements that must be met to participate in this scholarship include:

1. Enroll in study programs that are included in the priority areas that have been determined
2. Have a minimum GPA of 2.9 at the S1 level for Masters level applicants
3. Have a minimum English proficiency score of 5.5 for IELTS (or 525 for paper based TOEFL or 59 for internet based TOEFL or 38 for Pearson PTE) 
4. Have passed the S1 level for Masters level applicants
5. Female applicants, applicants with disabilities and applicants from Geographic Focus Areas are strongly encouraged to apply

Required documents for Masters level 

The documents required to apply for this scholarship are as follows:

1. Registration form
2. Copy of birth certificate or similar
3. Proof of identity such as a KTP or passport
4. Recent CVs
5. Original Bachelor level diploma (already legalized)
6. Original Bachelor’s degree transcript (already legalized)
7. Certificate of proficiency in English (IELTS/PTE Academic/TOEFL) with a maximum age of 2 (two) at the time of registration
8. Applicants for Masters level must attach diplomas and transcripts for D3 level when applying using diplomas and transcripts for extension D4/S1 level
9. Masters level applicants whose study component includes 50% research must fill in the research proposal details section of the application form
10. Applicants from Indonesia also fill out the Additional Information for Online Application form which can be accessed when the registration period opens
11. Applicants from the public sector (ASN) must complete and include the Nominating Agency Declaration Form
12. ASN applicants must include a Civil Servant Appointment Decree

Legalization of diplomas and transcripts must be carried out by the educational institution that issued the diplomas and transcripts or a public notary

Australia Awards Scholarship 2023 for Doctoral Degree 

This program also opens scholarships for Doctoral level applicants who will continue their studies in priority fields that are in line with the provisions of the Australia Awards Scholarship 2023 . Just like the Masters level, this scholarship program will prioritize Doctoral level applicants for fields that support the Covid-19 Development Response Plan, including health security, stability and economic recovery. 

For the Doctoral level, the study program that can be tried is the PhD study program with a maximum study duration of 4 (four) years.

The scholarship coverage for the Doctoral level is the same as the scholarship coverage for the Masters level.

Scholarship requirements for the Doctoral level 

Some of the requirements that must be met to continue Doctoral studies with this scholarship include:

1. Enroll in study programs that are included in the priority areas that have been determined
2. Have a minimum GPA of 2.9 at the Masters level for Doctoral level applicants
3. Have a minimum English language proficiency score of 6.0 for IELTS (for 550 for paper-based TOEFL or 79 for internet-based TOEFL or 54 for Pearson PTE) for Doctoral level applicants
4. Have passed the S2 level for Doctoral level applicants
5. Doctoral degree applicants must come from universities, higher education institutions, research institutions , policy makers and other candidates from agencies related to the Australian Government
6. Doctoral level applicants are expected to have received a letter of support from a tertiary institution in Australia for the intended study program
7. Female applicants, applicants with disabilities and applicants from Geographic Focus Areas are strongly encouraged to apply

Procedures and Application Deadlines for the Australia Awards Scholarship 2023 for Masters and Doctoral Degrees 

To register for the Australia Awards Scholarship 2023, applicants can fill out the application form and upload supporting documents on the online registration portal called the OASIS Website via the link https://oasis.dfat.gov.au/ and fill in the additional registration form ( Additional Information for Online Application) ) via the provided link.

Applicants who cannot register online through OASIS can contact the Australia Awards Indonesia office and submit hardcopy registration documents to the address provided by Australia Awards Indonesia.

The Australia Awards Scholarship program is generally open from February – April each year, with the selection results being announced in August each year.

Australia Awards Scholarship 2023 for Short Course

In addition to scholarships at the postgraduate level, the Australia Awards Scholarship also opens scholarships for students who wish to take part in short -term training programs that are open at various universities in Australia.
