1. Chinese Government Scholarship 

Appropriateness:

  1. Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health
  2. High school graduates under the age of 25 when applying for undergraduate programs

Profit:

  1. Exemption from tuition fees, tuition funds will be used comprehensively by the university. Includes education, administrative costs and expenses to support student activities
  2. Free university hostel accommodation or subsidized accommodation.
  3. Undergraduate students will earn a salary of CNY 2,500 per month

Required Documents:

2. Monbugakusho (MEXT) Gakubu (s1) 

Appropriateness:

  1. Formal school graduates at SMA/SMK level and equivalent
  2. Maximum age 24 years
  3. Semester 4 and 5 knowledge scores, at least 84 for each subject each semester
  4. Compulsory mathematics and compulsory English, for applicants who choose the field of study in the Science category, cannot register if the average score of these subjects is less than 84, even though they have a JLPT certificate
  5. For participants who choose the field of study in the Social Sciences category, if one of the scores for Mathematics and English is less than 84, they can still register by attaching a Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) certificate, at least at N3 level / J-Test, at least at DE level (500 points) / NAT-Test minimum level 3 / EJU minimum 240 points for Japanese language test
  6. For applicants who have EJU scores, any subject will be an additional point

3. Jadine Scholarship 

Appropriateness:

  1. Applicants must normally be within seven years of completion of secondary school education, by date of entry to one of the colleges of choice which include Exeter, Oriel, The Queen’s and Trinity at the University of Oxford and Downing, Magdalena, Peterhouse and Trinity at the University of Cambridge
  2. Have met the academic standards to qualify for admission to one of these colleges
  3. Residing in one of the countries or territories in which the Jardine Matheson group has significant business interests, including Cambodia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam
  4. Be in a satisfactory state of health

Profit:

  1. Tuition fees are paid directly to the university
  2. Tuition fees do not include lodging which is paid directly to the campus
  3. An annual allowance to cover lodging and all other incidental expenses
  4. UK immigration health surcharge
  5. Standard economy class airfare which will be reimbursed for the Scholar’s expense from residence to the UK at the start of the scholarship and for return journey to residence after completion of the scholarship period

4. Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship

Appropriateness:

  1. Applications are open to nationals of, but not limited to, ASEAN, Commonwealth and OIC member countries
  2. Applicants must be between 18-25 years of age for Undergraduate and Diploma programs
  3. This award is not eligible for Permanent Residents of Brunei Darussalam

Profit:

  1. Exemption from paying tuition fees including admissions, exams, registration and orientation fees for the duration of the program
  2. Economy class flight ticket to Brunei Darussalam from the scholarship recipient’s country of origin/country of residence before the start of the course and economy class flight ticket from Brunei Darussalam to the scholarship recipient’s country of origin/country of residence after completion
  3. A monthly personal allowance of BND$500.00
  4. Monthly meal allowance of BND$150.00
  5. A yearly book allowance of BND$600.00
  6. Accommodation in the University/Polytechnic residential college
  7. Baggage allowance for sending scholarship recipients’ personal items to their country of origin/country of residence after completing the program, with a maximum amount of: BND$250.00 to countries in the ASEAN region; or BND$500.00 to countries outside the ASEAN region
  8. Comprehensive insurance for the entire duration of the scholarship. Scholarship recipients, however, are urged to obtain additional insurance before traveling to Brunei Darussalam and during the scholarship period at their own expense

5. Mitsui Bussan Scholarship 

Appropriateness:

  1. Applicants must be citizens of the Republic of Indonesia
  2. Applicants must be less than twenty years of age and unmarried
  3. Applicants must have completed SMA (High School) Science or Social Studies courses with a minimum grade of eighty or higher on school records for the following subjects, from the last two consecutive semesters. While students from SMK (Vocational High School) are SMA Bahasa are not eligible to apply for this program
  4. For science subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English.
  5. For social studies subjects: Mathematics, Economics, Geography and English
  6. If there are different types of report cards (“Mandatory” / “Specialization”), then the “Mandatory” grade must be referred to
  7. Applicants must be willing to study Japanese and receive university education in Japanese in Japan. Whereas for each level the JLPT value (N1 – N5) will be counted as a premium for selection
  8. Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy and not have any infectious diseases

6. France Excellence Scholarship D3/S1/ IFI Scholarship

Appropriateness:

  1. Indonesian nationality
  2. Maximum age of 21 years
  3. High school diploma equivalent
  4. Have a good profile and strong motivation to continue your studies in France
  5. Has been accepted at a French higher education institution, both public and private, which is under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI)
  6. Not currently / will receive any scholarship from other parties

Profit:

  1. Cost of making a student visa to France
  2. The cost of round-trip airfare in economy class
  3. The cost of basic government health insurance
  4. Tuition fees with a maximum of 5000 €/ year
  5. Cost of living 700€/month

7. Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program 

Appropriateness:

  1. Applications will be deemed eligible only if the applicant is nominated by the responsible authority of the Submitting Partner
  2. Minimum age of 18 years
  3. The applicant is not a Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holder

Profit:

  1. Tuition free education
  2. Monthly Salary (HUF 43,700 / cca EUR 130) (Bachelors, masters, one-level masters and non-degree programmes)
  3. Accommodation contribution (HUF 40,000/month)
  4. Health insurance (HUF 65,000 / cca EUR 195 per year/person)

Appropriateness:

  1. Foreign nationals from all non-EU countries, with the following exceptions: citizens of Romanian origin who are eligible for various scholarship programmes; citizens who have obtained a form of protection in Romania; members of the diplomatic and consular corps or family members of the diplomatic and consular corps accredited to Romania; staff members of international organizations based in Romania or family members of staff of international organizations based in Romania; scholarship recipient from Romania for the same study cycle
  2. Must send complete files
  3. Presenting study documents issued by accredited/recognized educational institutions in the country where they were issued
  4. Have a good educational result to last school graduate of at least 7 according to the grading system in Romania

Profit:

  1. Exemption from paying the registration fee or other fees required by processing applications, testing Romanian language skills, entering admission contests for doctoral studies and special aptitude tests
  2. Funding tuition fees for the Romanian language preparatory year
  3. Funding tuition fees for the actual study, but not more than the duration of the university cycle, according to the course followed
  4. Monthly award of scholarships, for students enrolled in the Romanian language preparatory year
  5. Monthly award of scholarships, to students enrolled in undergraduate, masters or doctoral studies, but not longer than the duration of the university cycle
  6. Funding accommodation costs in student dormitories, within the subsidy budget provided through the Ministry of Education budget
  7. Medical assistance in medical-surgical emergencies and diseases with endemic-epidemic potential, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
  8. Local public, land, sea and underground transport, as well as domestic car, rail and sea transport, under the same conditions as those offered to Romanian students, according to the provisions of the law

9. Richmond Scholars Program 

Appropriateness:

Applicants who do not have US citizenship and are not permanent residents of the United States

Profit:

  1. Full scholarship, room and board, renewable for up to eight consecutive semesters from full-time enrollment, valued at approximately $259,920 over four years
  2. Eligibility for a one-time $3,000 grant to support optional activities that enhance the academic experience
  3. Priority course registration and guaranteed on-campus housing
  4. Specially selected faculty mentors to mentor students and help them fulfill their potential
  5. Special ticket vouchers for certain cultural events at the Modlin Center for the Arts
  6. Academic, social, and professional programming designed to build community within and between groups of Richmond Scholars
  7. The Office of Scholars and Fellowships staff is dedicated to advising and supporting scholars and connecting them with campus resources

10. SBW Berlin Scholarship 

Appropriateness:

  1. Foreign nationals, whose country of origin has special needs for development assistance
  2. Homeless stranger
  3. Recognized refugees
  4. Residence permit holder
  5. EU long-term residence permit holders
  6. Applicants from EU and EEA countries who have worked in Germany in activities related to their studies, prior to continuing their studies
  7. Applicants from EU/EEA countries with the right of permanent residency as defined by the Freedom of Movement Act (Freizügigkeitsgesetz EU)
  8. Age between 18 and 30 years
  9. The grade point average corresponds to the German grade point average of at least 2.0
  10. Application before starting education is fully registered in the first, second or max. third semester at a state-recognized university (in Germany or abroad)
  11. Be able to prove that they have not lived in Germany for more than 18 months prior to applying
  12. There are no first-degree family members living permanently in Germany
  13. Intention to work in their home country for at least 18 months after graduation
  14. Professional or voluntary experience in the non-profit sector
  15. Able to prove relatively low net profit

Profit:

Full scholarships include tuition funding, accommodation in apartments, and a monthly stipend for living expenses.
